PCI Sustainability Seminar: Building a more open approach to peer review

The Belmont Forum is supporting the development of Peer Community In (PCI) Sustainability, an initiative that seeks to advance Open Science and strengthen how sustainability research is evaluated and shared.

PCI Sustainability aims to establish a free, transparent and non-commercial platform for peer review and research recommendation, promoting open access and collaboration across disciplinary and societal boundaries.

Researchers interested in contributing to PCI Sustainability as associate editors, authors or recommenders are invited to register their interest and support the development of this community-driven initiative.

PCI Sustainability is supported by CNRS Ecology and Environment, the Belmont Forum, the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), the French Hub of Future Earth, and IRD.

By encouraging transparent, collaborative and accessible approaches to peer review, the initiative aims to contribute to a more open and inclusive research ecosystem for sustainability science.

To introduce the initiative and engage researchers and other interested participants, PCI Sustainability organised a series of presentation seminars. The sessions provided an opportunity to learn more about the proposed platform, its objectives and opportunities to contribute to the development of this emerging community.
