Belmont Forum announces seven projects awarded under the Resilience CRA

The Belmont Forum has announced the seven projects selected under its Resilience Collaborative Research Action (CRA), representing a total of €9 million in funding from 11 funding organisations worldwide.

The Resilience CRA supports international, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research exploring how communities and socio-environmental systems can anticipate, adapt to and transform in response to multiple and interconnected risks.

The awarded projects address a range of challenges, including floods and droughts, wildfires, coastal hazards, ecosystem degradation, early warning systems and the limits of habitability. They bring together researchers, practitioners, local communities and societal partners to co-produce knowledge, integrate scientific and local perspectives, and develop practical approaches to strengthen resilience and advance disaster risk reduction.

The seven selected projects are CoFLORES, CoReS, CO-TERRA, FLOWERS, HearWarn, RESCUE and ReValueNature4DRR. Together, they aim to support locally grounded, inclusive and sustainable solutions across diverse contexts.
