Story: The photo was taken during the visit of our project partners from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. We had a meeting at the Köstem Olive Oil Museum and then visited the olive oil factory of our practice partner, Gödence Cooperative. Here, Çıralı Ulupınar Cooperative (Antalya) and Gödence Cooperative members are having a chat in front of the olive oil factory. Consequently, both cooperatives agreed to collaborate and Çıralı Ulupınar Cooperative is now selling Gödence Cooperative’s products. On the wall, there is a saying by Atatürk, the founder of Turkish Republic, “The Essence of the Economy is Agriculture.” The project and especially the Turkish Hub is proud to empower cooperatives, to provide a space for them to meet and collaborate. This is a successful outcome of the project.
