Science-driven e-Infrastructure Innovation (SEI) for the Enhancement of Transnational, Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Data Use in Environmental Change (SEI)

This Collaborative Research Action (CRA) sought initiatives well positioned to bring together environmental, social and economic scientists with data scientists, computational scientists, and e-infrastructure and cyber-infrastructure developers and providers for a shared goal: to solve methodological, technological and/or procedural challenges facing interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary environmental change research that involves working with large, diverse and transnational, multi-source data.
The SEI CRA closely linked research thinking and technological innovation toward accelerating the full path of discovery-driven data use and open science, with the objective of enabling a broader scientific community to benefit from the identified new and potentially disruptive demonstrators or pilots toward solutions.
The call was launched in 2018 and the projects ended in 2023.
This call was supported by FAPESP, MoST, ANR, JST, and NSF.
