Biodiversity 3: Upcoming global engagements shaping the next CRA

As part of the ongoing preparation of the upcoming Biodiversity 3 CRA, the Belmont Forum will actively engage with the global research and policy community through a series of international events in the coming months.

 

These engagements represent an important step in the scoping process, assisting to inform and shape the future call by bringing together funders, researchers, non-academic partners, and decision-makers from around the world.

 

Where to Meet Us

The Belmont Forum will be present at the following events:

BioMonWeek
Montpellier, France | 4–8 May
The Belmont Forum will deliver a talk and participate throughout the event.

 

World Biodiversity Forum
Davos, Switzerland | 14–19 June
A Biodiversity 3 scoping session is scheduled for 16 June, 16:30–18:00 CEST.

 

SRI Africa
Cape Town, South Africa | 22–26 June
The scoping session is scheduled for 25 June, 11:45 am – 1:00 pm UTC+2.

 

Global Conference of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development
Paris, France | 15–17 July
A joint session for Biodiversity 3 and Arctic 3 is planned. Further details to be confirmed.

 

Contributing to the Scoping Process

These in-person engagements are designed to:

  • Identify key research priorities and knowledge gaps
  • Strengthen collaboration between science, policy, and society
  • Ensure the CRA reflects diverse perspectives and needs
