Coastal Vulnerability (Coastal)

This Collaborative Research Action (CRA) sought to promote the development, comparison, and transfer of coastal scientific approaches. The focus was on the vulnerability, resilience, and adaptation options of coastal societal, managed, and natural systems to multiple drivers.
This CRA was launched in 2012 and the projects ended in 2018.
This CRA was supported by CSIRO, ANR, DFG, JSPS, MoES, NRF, NSF, NERC, and FAPESP.
Seven projects were selected:
ARTisticc | Adaptation Research, a Transdisciplinary Transnational Community and Policy Centred Approach |
METROPOLE | An Integrated Framework to Analyze Local Decision Making and Adaptive Capacity to Large-Scale Environmental Change: Community Case Studies in Brazil, United Kingdom, and the United States |
DELTAS | Catalyzing Action towards Sustainability of Deltaic Systems with an Integrated Modelling Framework for Risk Assessment |
