Are you part of a research team that’s making a real difference in the world? We’re inviting you to share your story through the power of photography! The Belmont Forum Photo Competition 2025 is now open, and we’re looking for striking images that capture the essence of transdisciplinary research and its positive impact on society.

Eligibility

This competition is open to two groups:

• Project team members who are part of  active or completed Collaborative Research Actions (CRAs) funded by the Belmont Forum.
• Project team members involved in research funded by EPIC-N.
• Project team members involved in transdisciplinary, societally relevant research funded by other organizations.

What We’re Looking For

We want to see images that illustrate the impact of your project, showcase how transdisciplinarity is applied, demonstrate the integration of different ways of knowing, and/or show stakeholder engagement. Originality, composition, artistic merit, and an inspiring description of the scene and situation are all key factors that will be considered by the judges.

Prizes

The top three photographs will receive prizes, including scholarships and financial support to attend the SRI2027 conference.

Submission Deadline

The deadline for submissions is May 10th, 2025. Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your work and potentially win a prize!

Judging

A diverse panel of Belmont Forum members and SRI2025 attendees will score the photos.
