We are gathering input to chart the course for the future of the Sustainable Research & Innovation (SRI) Congress. All societal actors (members, partners, CRA participants (consortium lead), and the community) are invited to participate. This is your chance to voice opinions on what you love, what you want to change, and how to improve the SRI moving forward.
Belmont Forum and the SRI
The Belmont Forum plays a significant role in the SRI (Sustainability, Research, and Innovation Congress), serving as a key organizer and collaborator for the annual international meeting.
Through the SRI Congress, the BF fulfills several important goals:
- Host convening meetings for our Collaborative Research Actions (CRAs) that converge around the annual SRI Congress.
- Advance dialogue and strengthen links between sustainability science and society.
- Promote funding and research by hosting sessions at the congress to help interested researchers and stakeholders learn how to develop projects eligible for its funding.
- Collaborate with Future Earth and host institutions reflecting a commitment to partnership.
Public Consultation & Key Discussion Points
Your feedback is paramount. To ensure your perspective is fully integrated into the SRI’s evolution, we invite you to participate in the public consultation. Key discussion points that will be addressed in the consultation include:
- What do you like about the SRI?
- What would you like to see differently?
- What would you improve about its format?
- How often should it take place? (Annually/Biannually/Other)
- What do you believe needs to be done for the SRI to be taken forward?
Take the Follow-up Survey
Beyond the regional workshops, all attendees and interested parties are strongly encouraged to complete a dedicated follow-up survey. The detailed feedback gathered from members, partners, CRA participants (consortium lead), and the wider community is essential for shaping a future for the SRI:
- BF Member survey
- BF Partner (Associate) survey
- BF CRA Project participant (consortium lead) survey
- BF Community survey
