Belmont Forum to Host Town Hall at the American Geophysical Union 2017 Fall Meeting

Check out the Belmont Forum booth and attend our town hall at the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting.

This year’s conference will be held from December 11 to 15 in New Orleans and is the largest earth and space science meeting of its kind. AGU offers a unique opportunity for scientists, funders, and stakeholders from around the world to connect and learn about cutting edge research.

The Belmont Forum will host its town hall: Funding Transdisciplinary Science for a Sustainable Future on Thursday evening, December 14, 6:15 to 7:15. We will focus on scientist, stakeholder and funder engagement and discuss how to mobilize resources and knowledge to spur action, policy development, and meaningful communication. Forum awardees will share examples of how transdisciplinary science has been an impetus for policy and practice change. Presenters will include Belmont Forum Secretariat Executive Director Dr. Erica Key, Communications Officer Susanna Ehlers and University of Arizona Professor Barron Joseph Orr.
